We respect other faith traditions, and some of our families are interfaith. In fact, we belief that the more we engage with our brothers and sisters of other faiths, the more deeply we travel on our own faith journey.
Two ways to participate in facilitated campus interfaith activities:
A central body to coordinate communication between students of different faiths at UC Berkeley, the Interfaith Action Initiative (IAI) was founded in 2007 as a voice for students of faith vis a vis the administration.
The IAI currently creates links between Berkeley faith communities through a student listserv to announce interfaith community events, community service days, interfaith meditation workshops, and the Interfaith Leaders Project (ILP).

Interfaith Text Study
Now in its third year, Pastor Shelly of First Congregational Church and Rabbi Dorothy of Berkeley Hillel, engage students in shared Jewish/Christian texts. This year we plan to connect current issues (i.e. economic struggles, immigration, war) with text-informed faithful perspectives.
